IQ FireWatch @ Interschutz 2026
Under the motto “Safeguarding Tomorrow,” we participated at INTERSCHUTZ in Hanover from June 1–6, 2026. It is the world’s leading trade fair for fire and rescue services as well as civil protection.
IQ FireWatch was represented with both a large indoor stand and, for the first time, at the WildfireCamp in the outdoor area, focusing on wildfire protection. International interest remained consistently high, along with very positive feedback from numerous fire departments across Germany.
A key milestone was reached just in time for the trade fair, with the new site in Alt Garge (Lower Saxony) being commissioned, making it the 18th in the state and the 200th in Germany. The official opening was attended by Lower Saxony’s Minister Miriam Staudte and representatives of the Lower Saxony State Forests. Link to press release (GER)
Following this, together with the Lower Saxony State Forests, we invited media representatives to INTERSCHUTZ to present the 15-year success story of the automated early wildfire detection system (AWFS) in Lower Saxony and to showcase the significant milestone of the 200th site in Germany.
